Day tour to Dendera from Luxor visiting goddess Hathor temple which located about 52 KM north Luxor guided by a professional Egyptologist to see one of the most beautiful ancient temples around Egypt which has different colored decorations .
Building the Temple started in the 4th dynasty but the main building which still exist until know was built during the Greek Roman period , Godess Hathor considered to be one of the most important goddess in ancient Egyptian mythology and religion she was presented in both human and animal figure , she was presented as a cow and as a woman with 2 horns with the sun between it , she was the Goddess of maternity and beauty love and happiness . Also she was known for the Greeks as Goddess Aphrodite , the ceremony of the holy marriage of Goddess Hathor and God Horus used to be started from Dendera Temple and end at Edfu Temple where Hathor used to meet her husband God Horus .
