The Citadel

The Citadel of Salah El Din in Cairo Where you visit Mohamed Ali mosque it also know as the Alabaster Mosque because its outer walls has been Covered by Alabaster Stone .

Al-Rifa’I Mosque

Then Followed by another big famous Mosque Which is Al-Rifa’I Mosque The building is located opposite the Mosque-Madrassa of Al Sultan Hassan , which back to 1361 AD

AL Sultan Hassan Mosque

Then Followed by a visit to the Most and Biggest mosques in Cairo which is Al Sultan Hassan Mosque that also known as  ‘ Madrasa Al Sultan Hassan` that was founded by Sultan Hassan in 1356 AD It’s construction began 757 AH/1356 CE with work ending three years later “without even a single day of idleness”. At the time of construction the mosque was considered remarkable for its fantastic size and innovative architectural components , Commissioned by a sultan of a short and relatively unimpressive profile, al-Maqrizi noted that within the mosque were several “wonders of construction”, The mosque designed to include schools for all four of the Sunni schools of thought: Shafi’i, Maliki, Hanafi and Hanbali

1. The Hanging Church:
Also known as Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, the Hanging Church is a spectacular architectural gem that stands above the gatehouse of the Babylon Fortress. With origins dating back to the 3rd century AD, this church is renowned for its suspended appearance, as it
seems to hang over the ground.

2. Abu Sergah Church
Located in the heart of Old Cairo, the Abu Sergah Church, or the Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus, is believed to have been constructed on the spot where the Holy Family sought refuge during their flight into Egypt. Dating back to the 4th century AD, this church is a pilgrimage site for Coptic Christians. Marvel at its ancient architecture and explore the underground crypt where the Holy Family is said to have stayed.

3. Saint Barbara Church:
Dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of artillerymen and miners, Saint Barbara Church is a remarkable place of worship. Its history can be traced back to the 5th century.

and the Ben Ezra Synagogue is a significant religious site situated in Old Cairo. According to tradition, it stands on the spot where baby Moses was found among the reeds of the Nile. The synagogue has a rich history, with the current building dating back to the 9th century AD. Explore its beautiful interiors adorned with Hebrew inscriptions, ancient Torah scrolls
